Meh I just prefer to use Windows 98SE for the most part. The only DOS machine I have currently is my IBM PCjr and that uses IBM DOS 2.1. :P Yeah 95/98 is nice but sometimes you need to boot pure DOS. Also for low RAM 486 and 386 class systems will not run 9x satisfactorily Yeah when I eventually …

TBH I never realised people cared about clone cases or that they had model #s. I focus on OEM boxes exclusively myself. I agree, I always thought the pride was in owning Such and Such brand name for vintage computers. (In my case Packard Bell, IBM and Commodore) Besides these are way ergonomic. …

I can understand that I guess, I mean there is something to be said for just having a plain teal background. Personally I'm beginning to agree with Tetrium though that it gives the computer a little more of a personal feel.

Well I guess you learned about that one the hard way. Next time if something isn't coming don't yank on it! Wiggle the plug until it eases out. Also, all IDE and Floppy cable ends pull straight out from the board it's plugged into.

ISA, I don't care whether you are using DOS or Windows 9x you should be using an ISA card. 🤣
