I wonder how a PIII-S 1400 running at 1050 MHz (100 MHz FSB) would fare compared to a 1300 Mhz Tualatin Celeron on a BX board , especially with newer stuff.

You will almost definitely want to use a 40-conductor cable I currently have 2 X-FI SB0460 cards that are hooked up to "drives" using 40 conductor cables without issues . As a late follow-up, I can know confirm that my M6TBD with Bios Patcher 4.23-ed BIOS combined with a PowerLeap PL-iP3/T ver. 2.0 (the one with voltage jumpers, which I set to 1.5V as per CPU rating) and Celeron 1300 (Tualatin) seems to work fine . The board POSTs and correctly shows a Tualatin …

You know how the older via chipsets had problems with drives over sata150, yea at lot of the western digital drives have jumpers or you could use a worn down sata1 drive, but it would be really cool if there was a little chip that plugs into the drive and then the sata connector to make it sata1 …

Can it be the same for Windows 95? AFAIK, unless there are some exceptions I am not aware of, Windows NT 4 drivers cannot be used under any version of Windows 9x (95, 95 OSR2, 98, 98SE , ME) . As for my Windows 2000 experience with the Voodoo 2 in 2D, it might have been with a beta Windows 2000 …
