More than likely Rage Pro Turbo, that is what my Toshiba Equium 7100s OEM PII desktop has. Was pretty common as a onboard desktop video chip back then.

Could I suggest Socket 479, the Pentium M platform? I have seen lots of itx boards based around that. You should be able to find one with SATA and ide along with models that are pci or pcie. Think of the Pentium M as a hopped up P3. Matrox is my first thought for image quality :) I agree with …

If you had 32MB you were doing well in that time frame, most boards can't cache more than 64 anyway.
