10K rpm's ?? Ouch. Sounds like a blizzard. The reason why I don't use my 9.1gb IBM drives at all. My 4.6gb IBM drives are even worse when it comes to sound polution. Only have them for experimentation.

ATA-133 is one of the thing's I really want in my K6-III-400. It is running ATA-100 right now. The reason for this is the same as the mem. Go for something a bit overkill on these.
