I would say that non-booting at 80 euro is a bit steep. If it was booting, then 80 would be too low. So yeah... Neighter is too high, nor too low. How exactly does it not boot? Any battery damage?

Yeah.... If an K6-II/III/non+/+ setup can run stable at more than 500mhz overclocked, then it's fine. Personally I will let other people overclock. I am not going to.
