Never seen pictures of an AWE64-Gold CT:4640. The other two I know is out there. For what I have read, there are no real differences, other than how they look and their length.

P-II does not seem like a perfect platform for late-80's and onwards. Especially if you plan on installing MS-Dos-6.22 as the main os. If you swap out the motherboard/cpu and the soundcard, with something like a SS7 with eighter a P-133 or K6-III, I think you will have a better setup. The soundcard …

If you know the GFX will be terrible, then don't go for it. My advice is to forget about small form factor computers or single board computer, and go for a real computer.

I think it will be a tough one to crack. As Elite is from around 1993 and Rollercoaster Tycoon are from around 2000. Between these years, the gap in hardware are huge. You might pull this off by building an 4-in-1/time-machine.

An old A-Open 250watt ATX psu will be enough for an ATX-to-AT converter. As long as it has good caps. The model I have used, are one of them from around 99/01. Model number: FSP250-60GTA.
