The Windows sound system card is perhaps not the greatest invented. Yet the story and the failure makes it an interresting piece of hardware history. Great haul.

May you name games where GF4 needs special settings to show correctly, but where GF3 did not need them? For win9x games wich drivers were used there? I tried all the 4X series of drivers. And the games I had problem with, was NFS-Proche and UT99. NFS had this thing of showing the texts in the game- …

SCSI are nice in those old system's. (If you have a complete kit). Most likely, the CF card solution is the best way to go.

Probably do what I did, connect a digital volt meter to the terminals when it's on and see if it's outputting any voltage. If it does then it charges, if it doesn't then use whatever battery you have and just know you'll have to replace it some day. Even though my 486's are on packs of nimh cells, …

As these system's are from the 90's era, they can be used with Os/2 boot manager. Other than that, go for "Extended Fdisk" Os/2's boot manager (as far as I remember) can use up to 8gb harddrives. Just play with them two boot managers, and remember that it is only there to change the "Active-Flag" …
