So. Basically speaking. EDO and FPM have same voltage and pin assignment or something like that? Or different pin assignment, yet power-pins have same numbers? Wich all in all, does no damage if wrong type is used?

Just qurious. What will happen if wrong type would be inserted, even though it is the same ns. speed? I am thinking of, if one is to accidential using EDO ram in a board/expansion-card, wich only supports FPM. And of course the other way around, using FPM in a piece of hardware that only supports …

So the speed would still be affected, when you switch between WB and WT? On the video, this board is faster when the cache is set to WB. For me, this is really no issue at all. As I can just start a faster machine when speed is wanted.

Saw a video the seller made. It does have effect when setting WB versus VT cache. So yeah... I guess it does recognise cache. I go for that VL-Bus because I want to have what I had back then. And as the HDD is onboard, I have no need for VL-Bus controller.

Just use the reflow technology, when attaching a new cap' For the missing heatsink, you can use whatever you want. Most V3 users are attaching a 60mm fan on top of the heatsink anyway.
