The Scythe fan arrived early, and I just installed it. Very quiet! I would say the fan noise is cut in half, if not more. A perfect solution to the problem. Thanks again, keropi!

Yes, I have a Dell 2001FP, and it has VGA, DVI, composite, and S-Video inputs. However, it does not upscale composite and S-Video, IIRC. The panel is 1600x1200, so a SNES or PS1 will only display in the center of the panel, with black borders around the image.

All great suggestions. If the Scythe doesn't work out, I will go with a larger fan. The BFG 6800GT OC turned out to be malfunctioning. Still rockin' the Ti4600 for now.

We had an IBM XT with a 4.77 MHz CPU. Here are some games that I don't think have been mentioned yet. Oubliette by HESware. My favorite Rogue-type game. NFL Challenge by XOR. Ultima III by Origin. Phantasie by SSI (?).

I found that thread after posting, thank you. Yes, I think the Ti4600 will stay with my high-end 98SE build. I ordered a BFG 6800 GT OC for this XP build, so I'm hoping to get something in the range of 48 FPS at 1024x768.
