Quadzilla also requires a different set of drivers. I have a Quadzilla and only used the Turtle Beach installation CD, so I don't know if the Aureal reference drivers will work. My guess is no. Thanks for the suggestions. I checked them out, and everything seemed to be in order. Turns out I spoke too quickly. Other games (Doom, Hexen, Raptor) crashed with the new settings. I'm hoping that someone else can answer that question. Since I'm guessing that using the Waveforce as a DOS card will require EMM386 anyway, I'd be happy just knowing if GM works with later DOS games (which work fine in a Windows DOS box, I know).

One interesting glitch using Power YMF. With a PCI Voodoo 3 and 44.1kHz audio enabled in Power YMF, I didn't see some textures while demoing Descent 2. The documentation said that you might experiences problems with other PCI cards when selecting 44.1kHz.

Are these "generic" YMF724 cards different from the Yamaha Waveforce 192XG? The latter has a 2MB hardware wavetable onboard, I believe. Just wondering how they compare.

The only time I use an AGP card (GF2 MX) in my MVP3-based system with a K6-3+ is when I want to run certain Build Engine games at 1024x768. For some reason, these games crash at this resolution with the V3 PCI but work at 800x600.

I believe it is still 2.9% unless something has changed over the last year. All you need to do is "Send an invoice" to the buyer's registered email address.
