(I know this is an old thread but...) I suddenly had this same problem with WW2 GI when I tried playing it on my new PC, on the old one it worked fine with the same DOSBox version. I changed the typical WASD movement controls to ESDF and it seems to work now. Weird.

Boot from a Linux live CD (or USB) and delete the file. I've heard there are some Windows programs that can delete locked files but I've never used one because I have a dual-boot system.

Looks fine to me??? There's an issue with VLC media player that causes DOSBox recording to have black video with audio. Windows Media Player should work if you install the codec.

There's also that weird directory name you see in the video at 0:28 (AXΔNFΔZZ). Maybe those Δ characters should be something else. If that directory contains some game data the installer can't find it because the path is not found (same thing happens with scandinavian characters ö,ä,å in DOSBox).

I've seen a few people playing there every now and then but most of the time there's no-one there. Old DOS multiplayer games just aren't that popular anymore. And people use source ports to play them (Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem 3D are still quite popular).
