So, according to this: http://www.os2museum.com/wp/ibm-blue-lightnin … ds-fastest-386/ ...the blue socket should be able to run any regular 5V 486. I have a DX33 and a Cyrix DX2-66 to test (though the Cyrix is possibly a 3.3V part). Should I risk it?

While not particularly reccomended, on a few video cards I had without that pin, I used the end of a heated paper clip to make a hole for the pin and never had trouble That's a good tip, thank you.
