Bought System Shock off of GOG to get the Enhanced version. Quite nice to play 1024x768 with mouselook. And the Classic Edition does come with a DOS Installation ISO. Bonus. Nice seeing you playing with real hardware. I don't know about Xeen, but yes, you connect the game-port into the MIDI-IN of the SC-55 and that's it 😀 The SC-55 has buttons for GS / MT-32 reset, but I'm sure you know all about that.

Lovely stuff! I think board #3 is exactly the same board I used in my recent 486DX 33 MHz build. It is missing the RTC module though, did you de-solder it? I de-soldered mine, put a socket in and replaced the RTC module. Also you have a lot of loverly cards. It's great when you have so many options …

That board layout reminds me a lot of an Acer machine I have. Not sure if it applies to you, but my Acer won't POST without the riser card inserted. Such a great game 😀 I installed various flavours of DOS on a new machine. 6.22, 7.1 and also FreeDOS. Planning on doing tutorials on these, might come in handy if you are new to DOS.
