It was advertised as a "386 Pentium", but fell somewhere in b/w as an ISA based 486DX 50. I haven't come across a 50Mhz 486 before so... yay? I have a GTX660 too 😀 It uses its own chip, and not gimped / stuff disabled. The 660 Ti uses a much larger chip, but with stuff disabled and draws a lot more power.

Aren't the 8500 and 8500LE / 9100 very close? Meaning they have the same pipelines and memory width, but the 8500LE / 9100 are clocked a tiny bit lower?

That's great. What is your take on it, meaning your impression when using it. Did you notice any pauses in games, or does it feel quite fast? If you used CF cards in the past, how does the CF "feel" compared to that?

Yes, Descent 3, MDK2 and Turok 2 are easy to benchmark. Descent 3 needs a bit of work with the command line options (you enter them inside the SETUP window). Might be a project worth checking out.
