I don't think I will get this release. Wolf3D I've already got, I think through the 3D Realms Anthology, and also on Steam. RTCW through Steam. Quake II I've got the original CD and not really interested in Quake III to be honest.

Monkey and Indiana Jones use MT-32. X-Wing and Dune II might not run very well on a 286 IMO.

I'd ditch that motherboard and go with an AGP one. Opens up so many more options. K6-III+ with GeForce4? No problem if that's what you're after.

V1 can develop issues on machines that are too fast. ~ 400 MHz or so is the danger zone. V1 is best at home in a Pentium / MMX. V1 I think has V-sync enabled by default. Usually people disable it to benchmark, so not sure why you get tearing.
