Just use the stand-alone Munt together with the GOG release. That version has a volume slider for the MT-32.

The V2 having a poor image is quite well known, not sure why you're surprised about that 😐 That's one of the reasons I like the V3, it works with most games and has excellent image quality as well as DOS compatibility.

Got in on a few machines, working well so far. But not going to put it on my main PC and capture PC in my lab. AVerMedia and Creative don't have any drivers yet. Creative at least has a roadmap with release times, but a bit worried about AVerMedia. Might have to swap the drive and do a test install …

Thanks for the info swaaye. At least for benchmarking, UT worked well across all the cards I tried. I ended up removing Unreal from the list of benchmarks, it was just not reliable enough.
