Last Crusade doesn't support MIDI. Adlib is as good as it gets. But with an AWE64 Gold you can apply some fancy Chorus and Reverb which actually sound quite nice. Game Blaster version is interesting but I wouldn't call it better.

I would guess its because the GTX 285 is a faster card :) Even the GTX 470 got beaten by the GTX 285 in my testing but the GTX 470 is probably faster running DX10 stuff in Windows 6.x :blush: Forgot that there wasn't a real 300 series. Just keep an eye out for the voltage readings. On 5V heavy systems, you will see the 5V reading drop and the 12V reading increase. Problematic machines are fast Athlon XP 3200+ systems for example. I've seen modern Power supplies drop the 5V down to 4.3 and the 12V up to 13.3. Pentium III systems …

Swap out parts, even unassuming ones. RAM, IDE cable, HDD. Load BIOS defaults, not turbo defaults. Set timings to slowest, things like that.
