Re: Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow

Also gave it a try on my Pentium 4 system with my 6800 "GT", looking mighty fine at 1280x1024 and High Details, although it is not the smooth 60FPS experience I'm looking for. This is under Windows XP SP3 and 77.77 drivers. I found that a 6600GT wasn't faster than a 5950 Ultra. A 7 series card …

Re: VGA Capture Thread

Micomsoft X-CAPTURE-1 is interesting but I'm finding it hard to find information and option to purchase. StarTech support is pretty average I found in terms of answering technical questions or testing something for you.

Re: VGA Capture Thread

Sorry everything you said went over my head. It seems very specialised. Might be worth for you to get a capture card 😵 The system is all packed away again. I still have the original 60 fps 1024 x 768 capture off a V3 3500 for GLQuake and Quake 2. Around 1 GB each.

Re: Life Advice?

I would see a doctor and tell them exactly what you told us. Get some proper help and look after yourself. Recognising you need help is the first step. All the best!

Re: Original setup files missing from GOG games

The DOS releases aren't that bad to be honest. Most of the time the sound can be configured by using a command line parameter or editing a config file. The use of ScummVM for many games makes playing them on original DOS hardware often impossible. 7th guest for example or Sam and Max release. But …
