If SDR card has 8 memory chips in total, it must be 128-bit (they can be on one side, or on both). if it's a DDR based card, 8 memory chips usually can mean it's 256-bit and if there are only two DDR VRAM chips, it must be 64-bit. The manual says it supports P55C but lacks instructions on voltage setting. You can buy a VGA header to DB15 cable.

SS7 may have hiccups with AGP cards but 3dfx ain't part of them. K6-2+/3+ are highly recommended because they can be clocked down easily by software, but be aware of the board and chipset revisions if you are mating them with ALi Aladdin V chipset.

The make and model of your board is PCChips M560TG and it uses ALi M1531 Aladdin IV+ chipset. I can't find manual for M560TG but I found manuals for its cousins, M560 V3.1 , M560 V4.1 and M565 . M560TG has very similar layout as M565 (5PCI, 3ISA, 3DIMM, 4SIMM) but only half of the cache. Wayback …

I briefly used PCI-X version of Parhelia but didn't do any benchmark with it. It feels like... a regular video card 😊 Be aware that many PCI-X video cards on ebay are from SUN workstations and non bootable on PCs.

If you want something "totally radical" for the year 1997 then look no further than a Quantum3D 100SB-4440V.
