Re: Pandora Directive

Originally posted by Pashitos Is it OK? Looks fine. I kind of figured you had FAT32 on your drive as Pandora (apparently) will refuse to install on an NTFS partition. From what I have read, this one may not run with sound in XP. Does the game have the option to run with no sound or speaker sound …

Originally posted by Unregistered I gave u my specf. Not in this thread, and there's no way to tell one "Unregistered" from any other "Unregistered" even if we did a search for those specs. If you're not going to register, you need to place your system specs in every thread in which you are active. …

Re: Quest for Glory 5

From what I've read, QFG5 is one of the most inconsistent games on 2000/XP. Some fix using Win95-Compatibility mode, others have to use Win98-Compatibility mode, some with the patch, some without....etc Best to have a dual-boot for this one (and even then you may still have problems).

Originally posted by Kokuten I'm considering a BOCHS image, ... Only if you feel the need to punish yourself. It runs poorly (slow screen updates) on "Virtual PC 5", but considering Boch's VGA display is horrifically slow, it would be like "water torture" on Bochs if you actually got it running. It …

Re: Heroes Chronicles: The Final Chapters

Originally posted by Unregistered How to play Heroes Chronicles: The Final Chapters in w2k? The game music is very good. Ok, this makes zero sense. 1) It has nothing to do with GliDOS...at all. 2) It's a Windows game, so if your Windows has the proper audio and video drivers, you shouldn't have to …

From Interplay (NOTE: This only applies to DOS/Win9x trouble-shooting): 3.
