Originally posted by kukus444 So you mean that i shall create a file named LOLR?? No, he meant LOLG, just turn on your extensions option so you can see the full names of these files. Notice in your file listing, you have 5 files that appear to have the same name. This is because your filename …

Re: Dual boot

If you're talking about DOS-Only titles, Win95B or higher will give you FAT32 support so you can have a good-sized partition without wasting tons of space. If you're including Windows titles, I would say either version of Win98. Word-of-Warning: A lot of soundcards lose their DosBox support in Win98 …

Re: Old, old, system

I'm sure the hardware and software is still out there...just a pain to get (plus they tend to cost money). Still, if you can find a nice "Caverns of Mars" cart... BTW, there are people who still code demos for the Atari 8-Bits. Very nice ones considering the hardware limitations...

Re: meh?

Originally posted by blackjackel I patched it and it crashes for me... I'm guessing that you mean to say that it crashes immediately as opposed to the eventual crash that is almost guaranteed if you use CLI2Nop. Were you using Snover's custom version of CLI2Nop? I'm on XP, so behavior is different …

Re: "CONFIG.NT not suitable"

You'll probably need Vlad on this. Had you modified your CONFIG.NT file in any way? If I were you, I would uninstall VDMSound completely, then reinstall to another directory (I tend to like the nice compliant 8+3 directory names like C:\Utils\Audio\VDMSound). This might be an OS-level problem. You …

The first time you run anything with the launchpad it creates a VDMSound shortcut with the extension .VLP . You right click on this shortcut and choose "Properties, and you will …
