Interesting - I had no idea AMD-750 chipset was also used on socket 462 boards. 😀 It was kinda obsolete in 2001 - only PC100 SDRAM, AGP 2x, no FSB266 support, etc. KT133A and maybe even KT266A was available in late 2001. Very strange choice from Gigabyte...

IIRC youtube 60fps is using HEVC codec... only GTX 960 has full support for HW decoding, maybe some IGP as well, I'm not sure.

All ATi GPUs after R300 are AGP 4/8x only - so not compatible with 440BX. And even if they were, any PIII CPU would seriously bottleneck it.

Many years ago I had this board (no idea which revision though) and it didn't work with Voodoo3 2000 AGP. Once the driver loaded, whole system crashed. Terrible board indeed. 😵

This one should support SLI as well. Of course only 8+8 pci-e lanes, as the controller is integrated to the CPU and there are 16 lanes in total. Just like all 115x CPUs.

Nice to see this beauty running. 😀 Epox KT333 boards really are the best. Fast, stable, good compatibility, simply perfect. I have one of these myself (8K5A3+) and combined with AXP 3000+ it runs my V5 5500 AGP very well.

I still believe they MUST all be stored in antistatic bags or computer cases. ESD failures can happen. Sure, it doesn't hurt to put your HW in antistatic bag... but it really isn't necessary. Risk of killing CPU or VGA by ESD is very slim. All my hardware is stored like this and maybe one or two …

In this case (GTA) C2D E6300 (2MB L2) scores 23.2 fps. So smaller L2 means no performance penalty here. Unless this game refuses to run with less than 4 threads detected (which is possible but usually can be patched), then sure... C2D will run it and with some OC even defeat PD EE. I didn't really benchmark overclocked 965EE... but I think the gap between D945 and E6600 (both stock) in gaming …

4.8 GHz is nice accomplishment, on the other hand performance will be very poor anyway... pretty much any C2D will crush it. Btw - is it possible to run 16GB DDR3 (4x4GB) on P35 board? I guess it might work.
