I would rather grab a V3 / Banshee PCI they will offer you a decent Performance even if you are on 66Mhz Bus. But they are rather expensive. Nice, i have the same Board never run into Heat issues with a small Pentium 1 Cooler. i even modified it to run 75Mhz FSB 😀 Its a very stable Board so enjoy it!

They are fine, at least if they have Real OPL3/CopyCat OPL3 on it Jan Knipperts did write a a alternate Driver and also a Tool for Fixing Stereo issue.

Hi, other CPUs works fine, it gets Stuck during BIOS don`t note the POST Code yet, but i thing it has problems with Registers or something like this. i use PC133 Memory and set 100Mhz FSB as intent on the CPU, also Voltage is correct. Maybe i should try bpatcher

I run GD5420 1Mb ISA and can‘t complain about Performance issues. CPU is AM5x86 133Mhz All VGA Resolution Titles are Fine Doom 1, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood... A 486Sx 16 is Slower then 386DX 25... at lest my experience on ncr Computer

1. No, i know no CPU with 1.5 Multipler on Socket 3. (Maybe Pentium Overdrive ???) 2. get a Industrial 3.3V DX2 66 16BGC and it will overclock up to 4x33 and more 😀 It depends on the 486DX2 CPU.. some may work, some will run unstable.. but best Overclockers are 3.3V Parts.

There are Industrial PCI to ISA Adapter Cards with PCI to ISA Bridge on it where you connect a ISA Backplane. I have one somewhere. But its not really compatible with much Stuff. Best bet is to use a Compatible Machine instead of making incompatible Stuff less incompatible 😁
