You can easily put your system on 33MHz FSB, and it will work with all socket 3 CPUs and expansion cards. 33MHz FSB is the most compatible setting. can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to get this board to boot from cd??? do i need a dos floppy that installs cd drivers first? the bios doesnt see my dvdrom.. do i need to have the cd/dvd drive setup in the bios as a hard dr ive?? i didnt even see anything in the bios about cdroms.

the fan on the heatsink of the DX2 80Mhz CPU is kind of loud.. does a DX2 80Mhz AMD chip really need a heatsink? or is it optional.. my instinct is telling me its safe to remove it?? 486 cpus didnt really get hot did they?

so guys i did get around to attaching the com port header to com2 .. and ... COM2 WORKS! COM1 is screwed.. doesnt work no matter what.. but at least com2 is working! i was able to start up logic audio 4.8 just fine with the dongle attached to com2 last night!
