The only way to get A3D2 working is under Win98 or XP at the moment. A2D has some features such as occlusions and light-HRTF but the sound from EAX2 and Alchemy is better in this case under Vista and higher. No one should prefer A2D in this game, it isn't a full emulation of the Vortex2.
