Needing this pin not be high is a bit strange, because high state is "nothing is happening" as far as MIDI RX/TX signals are concerned, and because no input should float on any chip it makes sense this signal is pulled high, so as to simulate no transmission to the MIDI input on host side. My …

I have a couple of questions, apologies if these have been asked before: - is the LED required for the board to work? Or can that be left off? - will any variant of the CM4 work OK?
