Problem solved -- the pi3a+ was broken apparently, with another one it works fine. so now it works just as well on pi zero as on pi 3a+. only this specific pi3a+ had such artefacts, another doesnt Case closed !

Hi yes both MP32L and Mccake can be used inside a PC. MP32L has a footprint for pin headers on the pcb, so you can also add a cable to a panel. By the way, I had new panels printed some time ago, now updating the pictures !

EDIT 25.06.2023 : X16 and X16GS are now released ! X16 is a High End Waveblaster + USB synthesizer board. It also exists in X16GS - gamer's edition (with licensed Dream/Roland GS bank - for DOS gaming purposes). Together with Hummtaro, the tools and soundbanks were finalized. X16 will be preloaded …
