It would be useful to have a replacement mt32-pi.cfg to drop on to the SD card, that is configured to match your HAT. (hardware settings including display type) gpio_baud_rate output_device sample_rate 12c_dac_address etc... or, post it here as text? https://serdaco.com/downloads/MP32L/mt32-pi.cfg
