Oh, and I managed to get a Tseng ET4000/32WP VLB card and an Orchid Fahrenheit ISA 16-bit card. Any idea about these cards? After my 286, my next machine was my Pentium 133. And I have completely missed the 386 and 486 era during my studies. Hence not very familiar with the VLB era cards.

If you don't replace it, you'll get the same error on and off again till the battery has no more charge. When the battery goes off, your system will always show the error message and your system will always revert to it's default value. Just change the battery or get someone to do it.

It is most probably a battery replacement solution. Just make sure to revert to all your previous bios settings after you replace the battery.

I have a Pentium-S 133MHz based system. System 7 socket. Can play all games quite nice, but, still too fast for certain games older games. Even with the turbo switch off, Sierra games can't identify the SB card for digital output. Otherwise, quite cool. Just don't run very old arcade games on it.

Shouldn't emulation of old pc be restricted to Dosbox, Virtual Pc, etc.? I think just renaming this forum by removing the word "emulation" from the title of this thread would be more appropriate. Even I was thinking that we discuss only the actual hardware in this section.
