You can buy Pentium III with 133 bus on Socket 370, for example some with 866, 933 or 1000 Mhz clock. Boards with i815 are good for windows gaming with SBLive!. But for some 1998-2002 games will be also good some Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Duo, Morrowind will slowing even on good Pentium IV.

I have only: Pentium IV 1.7 with 256 KB L2 with Willamette core, PIV 2.0A with 512 KB L2 Northwood and PIV 2.8C with HT and 800 Mhz FSB and with 512 KB L2 and also with Northwood core, all are for Socket 478.

For DX12 games and GPU`s is better to wait some time, even one year or 1,5. Maybe AMD come back in that time with good CPU and GPU, I hope they do that. It will be good also for big return of Intel i740 🤣

After 3dfx died games have better and bigger textures, and far more triangles are used because of T&L and in Serious Sam are also micro textures. Enclave for example in 2003 look far better than any older game runned on 3dfx.
