To be fair, I recently replaced the H700 LSI-based RAID controller in my R710 homelab machine with a cheap Marvell SATA HBA and I did not need to format any of the "single drive arrays" that I had. I imagine a RAID1 array might be recoverable too (or at least the data, if not the array itself) …

Can you ping anything? Have you tried hooking it up directly to the modem? Maybe your switch/router doesn't support 10Mbps. Do you have a 10/100 switch lying around that you could hook in-between the Win95 machine and the newer switch/router?

Bought a used Intel 6950X from somebody in China who said they upgraded to a new AMD chip a few months back.... price was really, really, really, really good so we shall see what I get when it arrives. Hopefully not a scam... If so, I'll just put in an eBay dispute and go from there.

You can also do a "format c: /s" to skip having to use the SYS command after formatting because the "/s" argument automatically copies the files over after formatting.

I've been using paypal as a seller for years and haven't really had an issue with scammy buyers. That being said, if eBay starts using a new payment processor which doesn't take a huge fee from the seller like Paypal does, then I am all for it unless buyer customer service goes down the tubes.
