I have 2019 and 2021 on different machines. Not sure what deficiencies you are referencing compared to 365 other than not having the "privilege" of paying a monthly subscription fee. Maybe something to do with OneDrive, but OneDrive can DIAF for all I care.

Can you get a set of 256k 15ns chips for less than $12 shipped? I like maxing out the boards I have, especially when they have none or less max cacheable or slower than 15ns. No real reason not to with the prices being that low.

There are Chinese sellers that usually have them for pretty cheap. Find out how much cache that board can take and then go from there. You will want ones rated at 15ns (-15) or faster though the ones labeled faster than -15 are probably relabeled -15 chips. You will also need the tag chip which may …

For those tiny capacitors, when values are not known, I generally just pull one the same size and color off a parts board. As long as the value is the same or greater you should be fine.

It has the silk screen for a YMF704 which was one of the lower end Yamaha wavetable chips. I'm guessing it is a breakout for a wavetable header as well.
