oh neat, does the wavetable work in DOS? Have only given it a quick test in windows as it was the only soundcard I had to hand and something I was tring to launch required a sound card. I also have little knowledge or pre windows soundcards and features so wouldnt even know what to load up to test …

From looking at pictures of that model, my guess is that the drive is actually a regular laptop drive stick inside a USB enclosure. Those USB enclosures generally do not pass through the brand/model information of the drive itself.

1) Don't have the daughterboard, but I do have the ISA SW60XG 2) No idea, don't have either of those modules. 3) For the Yamaha PCI cards, the wavetable is not available for use in pure DOS.
