The fake ymf7x4 chips (remarked CMI) don't work with the real Yamaha drivers anyway so it would be really easy to catch that. So watching that video basically shows that these "new" chips from China are likely to be recycled and re-coated and re-etched chips.... So not really fake, just used.

That doesn't make any sense. Maybe try remaking your autoexec.bat file from scratch. I've seen weird things happen when config.sys or autoexec.bat have either gotten corrupted or have an invisible character somewhere in the file. Don't copy / paste any of the lines.... manually type everything in.

Look at the 1-star reviews. A couple say that PSU fried components... I wouldn't touch that model with a 10-foot pole. What are the specs of the rest of the computer you are needing a PSU for?
