Personally I wouldn't really mention it to the seller lest you destroy your chances of buying similar "scrap" lots in the future. Last time I tried to tell a seller about how they destroyed a good card by cutting off the edge connector they told me they received it that way... yeah, right....

I haven't actually tried it with an ISA card yet but it looks like it will auto detect resources... at least on non-pnp cards. I think you may have to manually add the needed resources for pnp cards from the looks of it but not 100% sure. Not the other way around? Don't think so. PnP cards usually …

The smaller one has thin fins so it wouldn't surprise me if it cools better. The big one has a thicker base so it will probably take longer to heat up and the temps will probably stay more steady but the CPU will probably run hotter overall.
