Not as many Lucasarts games supported as I hoped. Does Day of the Tentacle have *any* PAS support? Didn't see it on the box

Thank you. Can't test it at the moment, but if it fails, would the issue be strictly the drive -- or possibly the driver as well?

Under windows 9x, there are softwares to slow down drives. Does the win9x software operate in MD-DOS 7? (that is, DOS mode for win9x -- not a pure DOS system) If I need a new drive, I might be able to use the old for my system that only runs win3.11 (on top of DOS). How does win3.11 handle this …

That's what I was about to ask. The drive is new and matches my case color, even has a yellow ID matching the APTIVA's other lights. The system is pure dos. I tried googling things like 'cdrom speed cap program dos' to no luck. I feel it's going to be a 50/50 chance whether or not the TSR exists. …

PAS16 was widely supported, has sbpro2.0 compatibility for legacy application, and isn't a noise blaster(so i heard). But i can't find much on the card, so what's the catch? Only downside I found is that it needs drivers. Any thoughts on this card?

Whenever command and conquer (original Dos version) changes tracks, the game freezes to launch the next track. My talkie sierra games are similar. For quest for glory iv, it's like the drive is in a coma and needs 3 seconds to wake up every time it wants to voice dialogue. I don't recall issues like …

Tried to play Space Quest 4 on a 486 system upgraded with an IBM-Cyrix 5x86. Too fast. Turned off processor caching, too slow. Loaded SMARTDRV with 2mb, just right 😀

The pad was purchased used, and the previous owner must have set the switches out of position. By tinkering with different switch settings, I got it working on 4 buttons. Thank you.

I reached the conclusion that for Wake of the Ravager, 'Waveblaster' is just their terminology for an sb16 paired with an mpu401. Fro the CD version, I don't think it matters since it uses redbook no matter what, so you can't use midi. I thought something maybe the mpu401 came into effect because …

I'll run Ravager's setup this weekend without aweutil. I have a Yamaha mu10 on mpu401 at 330h address. I wonder if Ravager will see it as a waveblaster.

The answer is no, and I will try it when I have the chance. But, on my manual, it stated both switches were for switching between left/right handed modes.
