It seems my Gigabyte GA-7VRXP doesn't like 16x multipier witch is unfortunate. Wierdly enough it runs just fine with a 2600+ barton... CPU gets detected as "UnknownAMD Athlon(tm) XP 1900+" and runs at 11.5x133 with full 512kb of cache enabled. I set FSB to 166MHz (BIOS lets me go as high as 200MHZ) …

Looks like 256kb of double banked cache -> 32x8 + tag. Also set JV1 and JV2 to 1-2 and 1-2 witch means 1WS and >33MHz. I think your board is set up for 128kb of cache right now (32x4 + tag) - take a look at the videos I put up - you might be able to see correct jumper settings for 32x8=256kb There's …

No, I haven't tried the RAMDRIVE approach. I dunno there's a whole thing on the wiki as to why 6800's and amds are a bad idea. That's just dumb.
