Well can be some different things. If clearing CMOS works then my first hint would be that the ROM is damaged somehow and can't save or keep it's data. Reflashing the BIOS might do the trick then. Received my Asus P/I-P55TP4XE(G) today including the Asus Mediabus card. Thing looks good, have to dig out a psu to test the rig. Curious if anything other then a P1 200 can run on it. Only thing I 'don't have and I can't find one right away is the PS/2 header to connect to the mainboard. 😠

Can it be that not enough Amp gets to the slot for the voodoo3? The cyrix iirc uses quite some power, by this draining so much the voodoo3 lacks on this so it can't power on. 😐

If the card is not ok anymore this also happens. So if you find the proper driver with the device ID and it still doesn't work your card might be lost. 😵 I see it alot with notebooks where the chips start to die due to heath when they age.

Odd, tested it on my Compaq contura 400cx and I can press all three and it works as it should. Perhaps you have a keyboard of a different supplier which might be a bit lazy. 🤣
