The only issue I see with this build is the m3d card. It will benefit greatly from a much stronger CPU, so I'd save it for a higher end Win98 build. Other, earlier accelerators like the Voodoo 1 and perhaps Verite cards have better DOS support.

CS/CX4236+ cards are cheap and plentiful if you want a card with the FM flaw gone. Some games require FM for audio support.

No, believe me. It's bad. I had one actually catch fire. Not popped caps, and a small flame. Like 3-4 I chatted flames out the back, on fire. Get rid of it, if you like your house. Yes, but only as long as the SATA card is broadly supported and has an onboard ROM with a BIOS extension for booting.

There are two versions of Ezra with the second offering more multipliers (16 vs 12). Going by Gerwin's info, he might have a Sam2 that also supports the 12 multiplier steps of the Ezra not-T. The Ezra uses a bit less juice, though. Either way, I think he'll find it very yummy.
