Luckily you can get support for vDos and vDosPlus elsewhere. As even ykhwong has essentially abandoned it, you can't find support for Daum anywhere.

I tended to correlate between SpeedSys, NSSI, and others to get a sense of where performance was. L2 manipulation is very important once L1 is disabled (see my chart), but you ultimately want both FSB and L2 manipulation. Let's benchmark our systems with caches disabled

Is it true the YMF cards only emulate Sound Blaster Pro, and not SB16 like the Live? Yes. YMF-71x cards provide WSS compatible 16 bit support.
