Messing around with Awave, I'm having trouble exporting sound fonts to WFB due to bank limitations of the WaveFront chipset. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hopefully it supports the test mode registers, but there's no guarantee with an MMX chip.

Here ya go. Roland MT-32, CM-32L + General MIDI for $50 Building a MIDI box You don't need a fast PC. I've used a netbook and a Raspberry Pi 2 for this job.

To be honest, that machine is a little low end for the titles which use A3D and EAX. You could try the Montego II with Unreal (and UT), Thief, CS, maybe some others.

Not guessing (wouldn't be a guess). I haven't got a good screenshot to post. 😀 This game was also pretty cool on Windows 3.1.

Doubtful. Biostar tended to be focused on no or low frills motherboards. If you publish some high res board shots, we can try to play "spot the VRM".
