No Creative SB16 card supports SB Pro. I think they had inherent limitations in the DSP. To do this, the EMU would likely be best used like a Goldfinch with an SB Pro chipset on the same card.

Not all slot 1 CPUs were multiplier locked, but for those that were, this is correct.

The HD caps are the 4700uF ones. Again, Panny FC, FK, or FM caps, 10V, 4700uF would be excellent.

Nichicon make excellent caps. Generally, "audio grade" caps aren't worth the money, but appropriately specced regular caps should work nicely.

No, the SB Live uses software to emulate a classic SB interface in DOS. The only Creative cards that use a PC/PCI or SB-Link sideband connection are the AWE64 PCI or the AWE64D.

It would be more than a new feature. I'm not aware of any open program that performs this type of translation. There are MIDI synthesizers that output via FM synthesis, but it's definitely not the same thing.

By convention NAND gate pins 1, 2, 4, and 5 should be strapped to ground (or +5V) and not allowed to float.

The E2219 card should have LEDs for TX, RX, Collision, and Link. No idea why they have two ICs on a single interface board if they could just leave it unpopulated. Pretty sure the AMD PCNet solution was single chip.
