I found this ASRock board N68C-GS4 FX compatible with multitude of cpu's - Am3+, Am3, Am2 and etc. Can anyone please recommend one or two for high end windows xp gaming? A lot of choices here!

I found that it should matter too much what 875P/865PE board. Do check the capacitors though. AGP does limit your graphics options a little bit though, so I'm lately leaning more towards going with socket 775 for a Windows XP Pentium 4 machine. Found a rare 1ghz P3 slot 100mhz for sale and was wondering what mobo would be compatible. Currently all I have is a Intel SE-440BX which support maxes out to a P3 450 at 100mhz. Maybe a 440ZX?

Wanting to look into building a XP rig to "fill in" the gap between windows98/dos and current games. The Dell XPS models (400???) seem about right for a high end XP build (Duo-core and etc.) but what about the Xeon chips? Overkill or not applicable for games? Thanks ahead for any comments!
