i'll redownload splinter cell and give it a try for myself (since i'm on a gtx980M laptop too) and will see about doing some records to confirm if there's any noticeable stutter for me at 1920x1080 or maybe even 1440x1080 for 4:3.

my biggest issue is how Windows 10 (x64) keeps removing the device from being used at all and i have to either run a reg file i made to get it to see the virtual device again (doesn't remove the files, just the entry in the registry) or flat out reinstall.

Stranno: even with the language pack installed, it won't read unless you're in jp locale. try Locale Emulator to see the jp charset with it without changing your system language. then you might be able to google translate it or something.

Update on Postal 2. Raising the memory from 128 to 1024 MB got it not crashing. but now it displays a black render screen. i can move round the menus and interact with the game but the screen is just black. fast memory access crashes the game though. My MSI afterburner was displaying "APP: 0.00" …
