windows 98 only does desktop extension, if you need cloning you need vendor software like CCC

you need at least 4megs of ram, so depending on loaded drivers and setting you may need 5,6,7, or even 8 Megs total and himem loaded, games that use protected mode usually dont have such hich high conventional memory requirements

what 2 pci devices do exchange data on a computer via pci? i mean you literally need drivers that make use of the i960, no? anyway this board is p0rn its a pity youre not willing to go for a socket7 benchmark too :>

do you know what temps you get under load? i personally was thinking about ocing mine to 4.1-4.4 ghz with a SILENTIUMPC FORTIS 3 HE1425 (im on the stock cooler now); ever tried to downclock ram to like 1600 cl9 and seeing how much benchmark result would drop?

if youre looking not for platform emulation, but more system emulation wine is an option for some; its a reimplementation of the winapi and is mature enough to play stuff like quake2 or even lineage2(without monitoring tools) with full hardware acceleration
