Granted this is just one person's assessment, but it's an interesting view on how much CPU power is used by a modern version of Windows and other concurrent software, as compared to another system that's not running multi-tasking software. its not about multitasking, its about bloat and proper …

for one it seems a good symbolic move from people wanting a change of direction, even if the whole thing is abandoned before something happens; then again i expect this will throw the region i live in back into the stone age again, especially since people here are such wanna-be-rightist jerks;

afaik when you push/pop the mmx registers, 3dnow also gets saved/restored(same registerset), hence it should work correctly; sse however needs to be pushed separately or in a different way; as long as only 1 program is using it, nothing should happen;
