I don't remember riots against Obama either. There was popular grassroots opposition to him and his policies in the form of the Tea Party, but that was non-violent AFAIK. We'll probably see a liberal equivalent of the Tea Party take form now.

That sounds like the conflict between London and the other regions you see in England. Brexit wasn't just a revolt against the EU, but also against London and its domination of British politics.

The people who drew up these rules didn't like cities. Probably because they wanted people to settle the frontier rather than crowd together on the coast.

Thoughts on the electoral college? Should states all have proportionately the same number of electoral votes? I assume the current system was set up to prevent small states from being bullied by larger ones. Is that still a concern?

Now you mention it I don't remember ever seeing Bill on the campaign, which is strange since he was hugely popular back in the day. He should have been one of her strongest assets.

I believe MAME 0.37 BETA 14 is the last one that runs in DOS. On a 180 MHz Pentium Pro with Sound Blaster 16 it works well with early games, though you have to run a lot of them with sound off to get decent FPS. It also needs the old version ROMs. It won't work with the newer ROMs.

You want to long-term store the images where? On hard drive? That involves additional risks. You may want to put your CDs in a couple of those large portable 1000 CD storage cases. Stow them under your bed.
