Thanks, rodarkone! Yes, 7-zip 9.20 runs on Win98. Also, you can run 7-zip from a linux distro if you want. It's not usually installed by default, but it's an apt-get away.

Yea there are two versions of 3dbench for a reason :) Version 1.0 is recommended for slow machines. 286, 386 and will work reliably. But it doesn't work precisely with faster machines, having huge steps. Here 1.0c is what you should use. Good to know. Thanks! I will have to re-do the PII and …

Well, my hope is that people would like to add their own results for a wide variety of CPUs, so that someone with the ability to disable L2 can add their result to the list. On a positive note, I have a POD 200MMX on the way that will go into the Triton 430FX board. It will be nice to add its L1D …

Do you have results for L1 EN / L2 DIS, L1 DIS / L2 EN, and L1 DIS / L2 DIS? Also, I would love to see results for max stock clock and min underclock for each core (Chompers, CXT, Deschutes, Mendocino, etc)? I'll have to remember that the next time I'm feeling clueless. 😉 I did test a few data points with means and they were close, but there were just a few weird results in the database that I thought medians would be better at filtering those out.
