You replaced it with a NEW battery, I presume. Do a visual inspection of the board. Any bulging caps? Also, after clearing the CMOS and successfully turning it on, try leaving it running for a day or two. Does it stay running or crash?

That BIOS ID corresponds to a series of Intel OEM boards called Hillary. It could be one of 6 different boards but they all share the same BIOS and you already have the latest version. I'm trying to get my floppies working. Disk 1 is good. Disks 2 and 3 give me read errors. I can copy the 1.4MB files on disks 2 and 3 to the hdd if I Ignore the read errors. File sizes come out good but not sure the structure is intact. Trying to copy them back to good floppies now.

I'd test on my system (Voodoo3 2000 PCI) but one of my TV floppies is bad. 🙁 Does it display normally in other resolutions? Any display issues with other games?
