I got PCI-e 1.1 numbers for my NVMe 😀 Filename NVMe 0.png File size 597.67 KiB Views 382 views I did use latest driver (2.2.0.1703), and switched off PCI-e power saving features along with Write-cache buffer flushing.

Using a "Soft FSB tool" to set a FSB of 166+ MHz is of course an option but I'm not sure it's possible to get very far unless using a 200 MHz "start up" FSB. You could try BSEL Mod to 1333MHz FSB (only IF MB supports that speed in it's spec). Since Xeon X3230 is a Q6700 (G0) it shouldn't be too hard, and I think 3,33GHz is doable without Vcore increase. As for cooler, I would go for TR Ultra 120 Extreme :) Keep in mind, that cooler is usually sell …

I would try a AGP GPU (any AGP 4x or newer will do). Also, are you 100% sure cooling is mounted properly on P4 660 (100% FAN + shut down, usually means CPU overheating) ? I guess CMOS Clear and battery removal didn't helped in either case ? PS. Cedar Trail ? I hope you meant Cedar Mill :) Cedar …
