Installed FreeBSD 3.5.1 and BeOS 5 on my K6-2+. Ive was a FreeBSD user since it was a patchset on 386bsd. Also used to run + develop for BeOS ye-long time ago. I had 3/4/5. Figured I'd take a look at Be5 on my K6 before upgrading it to a Haiku nightly. aah memories! 🤣

you can use something like use-umbs.zip, you have to hexedit your address range into it or compile it and this will put ram into the c000 etc range.

sd2iec or uiec. thats what you want. the c64/128 revolve around 1541. fastloaders, copyprot etc. if its not 1541 emulation its not worth it. sd2iec/uiec will give you the next best thing (better would be ultimate 1541 cart which does 100% 1541 emulation).

Burned the midiman mm401 v1.15 rom into a new old stock NEC 2764 eprom. Currently I have the v1.10 rom in the card, so I'll do the swap on the weekend
