Is your CDPRO folder on your C: or D: drive? Remove the /V parameter from your Config.sys entry and place it in your Autoexec.bat file as part of MSCDEX.EXE. I'm stuck. I've put this in my AUTOEXEC.BAT: C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:OEMCD001 /L:F And this in my CONFIG.SYS: DEVICE=D:\CDPRO\VIDE-CDD.SYS /D:OEMCD001 /V OEMCD001 because when I boot with my Windows 98 CD, that's the driver is uses, so I assume that will work with this drive, Unfortunately I get: …

Hey up folks, My build came with a Sony DDU1613 DVD-ROM which I'd like to run in DOS 6.22. I'm not bothered about DVD functionality but would like it to simply run as a CD-ROM. I have MSCDEX in my DOS folder, but what Sony drivers should work with this? Thanks

I have two kinds of Microsoft Intellimouse. The PS/2 port on my PIII is finicky as hell and cuts out of it's knocked slightly, but I'm getting used to it. The pointer motion needs some work, too. Are there USB mice drivers for DOS?

Hmm... Would a good compromise therefore be having a SB16 and a SBLive? The 16 covers DOS and the Live covers Midi and everything AWE32 and 64?

My model of Live! is CT4620, which I can't find specific WDM drivers for. I tried the CD you linked to. Letting the CD do its own thing resulted in no changes - no sound at all. Manually going through Add Hardware, I wasn't really sure where to go on the disk, but presume W9xdrv folder would be it. …

I'm having problems, folks. I've tried downloading these purported Windows 98 WDM Drivers for SBLive! http://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?file … menustate=42,35 but upon extracting the Readme says they're for 2000 and XP. Indeed installing them does nothing.
